The Ferrata route is a climbing route that is practiced in the town of Pachar -Yanahuara, which has a permanently installed security system. It offers the opportunity to move through spectacular mountainous scenarios, to people without any experience in climbing and using a minimum of equipment, metal ladders, suspension bridges and similar facilities are used for the ascent. The descent is by rappel of 100mt, via ferrata and hike.
The climber is anchored all the time to a steel cable (lifeline) that runs the entire route, through a security system called a double mosqueton system.
Who can do La Via Ferrata?
Anyone who is in good health, the minimum age is 7 years. also we could reserve the right of admission, in case of observing any anomaly in the health of visitors. The climbers should always be accompanied by a guide.
Upon arrival, the equipment will be delivered and the safety talk will be given, which takes approximately 30 minutes. The ascent and descent will last between 3 and 4 hours depending on the rhythm of the group.
The price includes private roundtrip transportation from Cusco or the Sacred Valley, guides, equipment and snack at the top of the wall enjoying the best view of the Sacred Valley.
